Deskunking a Pet

(always consult your local veterinarian before using this solution as all animals are different and may be sensitive to this bathing solution)

1.  Mix 1 qt. of (fresh, unopened) 3% hydorgen peroxide, 1/4 cup baing soda, and 2 tsp of orignal Dawn dish soap in a med size bowl.

2.  In your bathtub or outdoors use the mixture like a shampoo, scrub into effected areas of the dog's coat. For very large pets, one quart of tepid tap water may be added to enable complete coverage.

3.  Allow the mixture to remain for 7-10 minutes before rinsing.

4.  You may want to keep the dog in the bathtub or outside while waiting as the mixture could create a mess.

5.  Rinse the dog thoroughly, repeat the process if necessary.
